Since the holiday break is over and the new year has begun, my busy season at work has taken off. It’s the time when I’m furiously putting together multiple presentations per week, traveling the country to persuade that our newest items to be added to shelves everywhere, and in general is just a fast-paced time of year.
Or at least.. it usually is. For some reason this year is starting off slower, with regards to meetings. I have more customers than in years past, but as of yet no meetings on the calendar. Nothing’s happening until later, apparently.
And as such, the whirlwind of the holidays is becoming a distant memory, my husband and kids are at school all day, and I’m diligently working at home. On stuff. Very important stuff. Like analyses that I have time to work on because I’m not building selling decks.
And the text messages between my husband and I are flying! I mean, constant. Except they’re completely one-sided.
Stupid auto-correct. I think I pulled it off nicely, though.
Not even any response to my dumb jokes.
And then he sprang this on me:
No response. But, I did get some kudos from work!
And still nothing. *Sigh*
I guess working from home isn’t always awesome.

Oh, the irony? Mad coincidence?! I just got asked to book travel for next Weds!
And just like that I’m back in the game!
